About Us
The Mission Possible thrift store was started on December 13th 2005 by the late Reverend Edgar Hunter in the basement of a local Methodist church, and moved to the current location in November 2007. The store started when the reverend recognized the community’s need for more winter coats, so he collected old coats to distribute for low prices. The store started accepting a wide variety of donations and continued to expand over the next few years until inventory stocked a full store! Today, Mission possible is flooded with an abundance of clothing, kids toys, kitchen appliances, household staples, and even holiday decorations. The name "Mission Possible" aptly conveys the store's initiative, emphasizing that, despite challenges, dedicated effort can indeed bring about meaningful and positive change for an entire community.
